NO HARRY POTTER ENCYCLOPEDIA

US District Judge Robert Patterson said Rowling had proven that Steven Vander Ark's work would cause her irreparable harm as a writer.

The judge, sitting at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan courthouse in the Southern District of New York, permanently blocked publication of the reference guide and awarded Rowling and Warner Bros Entertainment £3,850 ($6,750) in statutory damages. [read more]

NOT GUILTY!!

The District Court of the Southern District of New York declared that the "publication, distribution, and exploitation of the Harry Potter books does not violate any of Stouffer's intellectual property rights", and ordered that "Stouffer is permanently enjoined from making false representations to third parties indicating that she owns all rights in the 'Muggle' and 'Muggles' trademarks and copyrights, or indicating that plaintiffs have violated her intellectual property rights."
