Real Harry Potter School Reality Show

Sorcerer's Apprentice is a great idea. Kids learn to practice and dedicate themselves to a craft. An excellent way to prepare them for the real world.

The BBC is to launch a reality series which will follow a group of children learning magic at a Harry Potter-style boarding school.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which will air later this year, will show the children learning card tricks, Latin spells and illusions.

Each week, they will perform for "magic mentors" who will judge their performances and decide who must leave.

BBC executive Anne Gilchrist thinks the show will "inspire and amaze".

Barney Harwood, who currently presents Totally Doctor Who, will front the series as the children progress. LINK.

A Book Bar for Kids

This might be the smartest or dumbest thing I have heard: "a library/bar for kids"

Children like Lloyd Saunders, will be asked to act as book waiters at Swindon Central Library's new book bar

I’ll have a fizzy pop and a Harry Potter, please...

Bookworms at Swindon's new library could be ordering a shot of Shakespeare or a pint of Potter.

Young people will be able to gossip about their favourite authors while relaxing with a cappuccino at the library's new Book Bar-all.

The Lottery's Young People's Fund has awarded Swindon Libraries the money funding to set up a book bar for youngsters at the new Central Library, which is due to be completed next year.

Twenty book bars are being set up across the UK as a place where youngsters can chill out and read their favourite books and magazines while being served by book waiters. LINK.
