How did Lord Voldermort get his wand back after his first attempt to kill Harry Potter failed?

As you know Voldemort arrived at the house of Lily Potter and James Potter, and killed them. Then he turned onto Harry Potter. For reasons unknown the Avada Kedavra curse could not touch the boy and rebounded upon You-Know-Who.

Instead of killing the Dark Lord, You-Know-Who was reduced to a weak spirit, with no powers left. Horrified, You-Know-Who fled far away.

It seems he would have lost his wand when the Avada Kedavra curse rebounded and nearly killed him.
